We had a fantastic stay at this lodge. The location was lovely with beautiful country views and easy access to nearby attractions by car. The lodge itself was like something out of a film, with picturesque decor and a cozy log fire. The beds were comfortable and the added touches of games and books made us feel right at home. The large lawn was perfect for our children and dog to frolic in. the cleanliness was perfect and the staff were friendly and helpful.
All good.

The bathrooms at Newlands in Archiestown were a dream! I had the luxury of choosing between two bathrooms, one with a delightful bath and another with a refreshing shower. It made getting ready in the mornings a breeze, and I felt like a VIP!
I personally preferred the bath over the shower, but that's just my preference. I'm sure others would still enjoy the invigorating shower experience!

This place had the most insane views, like something straight out of a movie, with a stunning decor, cozy fire, and a massive lawn for kids and dogs to go mental on. The beds were literally the comfiest I've ever slept in, and the added bonus of games and books made it a solid 11/10 experience. Location-wise, it was surrounded by beautiful countryside and super easy to get around in the car. Plus, free wi-fi, parking, and pet-friendly! No smoking on site. Just mind-blowing!

I recently stayed at a lovely hotel in a rural setting. The spaciousness and comfort of the hotel were really good. The large garden provided a peaceful atmosphere and the surrounding area offered beautiful woodland walks. The lounge with its crackling wood burning stove was a cozy spot to relax. The beds were comfortable and the two shower rooms, one with a separate bath, were convenient. The kitchen area was well-equipped with a decent sized fridge freezer. The location was also great, with easy access to shops and other services. I highly recommend this hotel.
Although the hotel overall was fantastic, there were a few minor issues. The cooking pots and pans were old and tired and could use replacing.

The room at Newlands in Archiestown was awesome! It had not just one, but two bathrooms. One of them had a lovely bath, perfect for a relaxing soak after a long day of exploring. The other bathroom had a shower, which was great for a quick freshen up before heading out. As a party person, I absolutely loved having multiple bathrooms to get ready. It made getting ready together so much easier!
While I loved everything about our stay at Newlands, I personally found one small thing a bit less enjoyable. The shower in one of the bathrooms didn't have a bath.

The location of this place was absolutely stunning, with picturesque views of the countryside and easy access to nearby attractions. It was the perfect spot for a cozy Christmas getaway. the log fire in the lodge added a warm and inviting atmosphere, making it feel like a true winter retreat. the spaciousness of the property was a major advantage, providing plenty of room for everyone to relax and enjoy themselves.
There were a few downsides to our stay. the cleanliness of the property left much to be desired, with dirty shower heads, cobwebs on the ceiling, and remnants from previous guests scattered around.
